Northern Virginia to Affect Gubernatorial Race

In a year with little political activity, the Virginia gubernatorial race is predicted to be a closely fought battle. The Wall-Street Journal published an article explaining Northern Virginia’s impact on the upcoming gubernatorial election.  Northern Virginia, commonly referred to as Nova, has generally been represented by Republicans. Demographic shifts and population growth over the past decade have changed Nova’s political identity.
